The only thing more exciting than season 3 of Netflixoriginal series Narcos is the theatre bordering the filming of season 4–and the real life brother of Pablo Escobar misses in on the action.

Season 4 will move observers from Colombia to Mexico, where the plan will focus on the Juarez cartel. As Netflix inaugurates preparations to cinema, more Escobar own family members have said they do not condone the Tv serial.

Roberto De Jesus Escobar Gaviria has reportedly required$ 1 billion from Netflix for “unauthorized usage of content.” In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter , Gaviria reminded Netflix it was a bad idea to cinema in Mexico without his permit.

“I don’t want Netflix or any other film yield companionship to movie any movies in Medellin or Colombia that are linked to me or my brother Pablo without approval from Escobar Inc ., ” he said. “It is very dangerous. Especially without our backing. This is my country.”

Gaviria–who was once known as the “chief of the hitmen”–appears to be correct in its evaluation of the peril that filming in Mexico could constitute. On Sept. 11, Netflix location manager Carlos Munoz Portal was shot and killed while scouting for sites in a rural area outside of Mexico City.

“If you have the intellect, you don’t need to use artilleries, ” said Gaviria when asked to comment on the recent death. “If not, you have to. In this case, Netflix should provide hitmen to their people as security.”

Narcos watchers on Twitter shared their apprehension about the threats from Gaviria.

Gaviria too alarmed there will be causes if Netflix doesn’t remuneration Escobar Inc. the$ 1 billion.

“Right now, we are in discussions with them through our attorneys Browne George Ross LLP to find our$ 1 billion fee, ” he said. “If we don't receive it, we will close their little show.”
